Russian Studies is a course that provides high competence in Russian, Ukrainian and a Western language together with knowledge about Russia’s culture, media, history, law and economy and about international co-operation. Russian Studies prepare its students for a professional career in Polish-Russian economic, cultural, media and scientific relations; its graduates can look for employment in culture institutions, trading companies, advertising, information agencies, media, tourist services, chambers of commerce, translation agencies, public offices, embassies and consulates, political institutions and law firms who are looking for people who not only know Russian, Ukrainian and a Western language, but also have the knowledge and skills to carry out economic, marketing and office assignments and who furthermore have knowledge of Russian law and regulations and various aspects of Russian culture.
