The course provides education in broadly understood religious issues. Religious Studies develops interests and broadens horizons, provides an understanding of different cultures and civilisations, and most of all of the religions that influence them. The broad curriculum prepares the students to be well acquainted with the field of religion. Graduates are fluent in religious history, theory and typology and have an understanding of the issues of the world’s great religions.
Graduates are prepared for jobs in culture institutions, government administration, governmental and non-governmental organisations which deal with religious minorities and refugees, especially institutions serving intercultural and interreligious dialogue, as well as journalists in the press, radio and television (upon learning the necessary skills) dealing with religious, political, social and cultural issues.
Religious Studies graduates can find employment in culture and art promotion institutions. They have the necessary qualifications to organise and run training courses in institutions run by people from cultures other than Poland, for people who work with them and who employ them.
