Candidates to the Postgraduate Supplementary Logopaedics Therapy course should hold a 2nd cycle degree (or uniform master’s degree) and a certificate of completion of a Postgraduate Logopaedics course or another form of logopaedics training at the bachelor or postgraduate level, with a total minimum number of logopaedics hours of 320, alternatively a master’s degree in Logopaedics or a master’s degree in Polish Philology with a Logopaedics specialty. Course graduates are specialists in speech therapy prophylactics, diagnostics and therapy. The course provides complementary and new theoretical knowledge and practical skills to allow providing speech therapy to children and adults with regard to various communication disturbances and disorders. Graduates are qualified to work as speech therapists in healthcare centres and education centres which provide treatment, therapy and education for patients with various kinds of communication difficulties.
