This post-graduate course is open to persons with master’s degrees (e.g. in psychology, pedagogics, law) and bachelor’s degrees; however, it is especially directed to persons who work or are preparing to work in kindergartens and schools (also integrated schools), education and rehabilitation centres, counselling centres and other facilities dealing with children’s education and therapy with diagnosed social maladjustment, threatened with social maladjustment and work with families with socially maladjusted children. The issues dealt with during the course may also be useful for people working for the judicial system who deal with the problems of law breaking by children and adolescents, explaining the mechanism and development of such behaviour and with criminological and rehabilitation forecasting. The curriculum covers issues related to working with dysfunctional families and children at every age (from small children to young adults) and every level of development.
