Post-graduate Logopaedics (PSLog) courses are available to holders of a master’s degree. Humanities and medical degrees are preferred. The candidates should have very good hearing skills, a regular stomatognathic system and good orthophonic competence.
Based on the course completion and practical logopaedics training, graduates of PSLog receive a certificate of course completion and are fully qualified to work as speech therapists. During the course, students receive specialist training on dyslalia, neurologopaedics, surdologopaedics, balbutologopaedics, oligophrenologopaedics, voice production and vocal hygiene and other specialised areas of speech therapy. Students need to display an in-depth knowledge of basic diagnostics and speech therapy methodology, as well as be competent in applying ready-to-use diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Students should also have an ingrained habit for lifelong learning, perfecting and updating their diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
