The course is directed to persons who work (or intend to work) in healthcare institutions or their own businesses in this area.
The aim of the course is to provide the students with the basic knowledge, skills and competence to enable them to correctly understand modern health service management concepts, systems, methods and techniques and use them in their professional lives.
The obtained knowledge, skills and competence are to help graduates, depending on their individual needs, perform various executive and specialist roles in the management of health service units and other organisations. The obtained knowledge, skills and competence are to also help graduates, depending on their individual needs and interests, run their own modernly managed health service unit (practice) or perform executive and management roles in healthcare institutions. The course also enables graduates to take up a more specialist post-graduate course to broaden their knowledge, in keeping with the idea of life-long learning.
