Postgraduate Neurologopaedics course candidates should hold a master’s degree and a certificate of completing an entire Postgraduate Logopaedics course, a master’s degree in Logopaedics or a master’s degree in Polish Philology, Logopaedics specialty. Course graduates are specialists in the diagnostics and therapy of language communication dysfunctions in aphasia, as well as other neurologenic speech disorders (including dysarthria, stammering/stuttering, autism). The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills to allow providing speech therapy to adults and children with various injuries to or underdevelopment of the brain’s speech area. The course graduates are qualified to work as speech therapists with a neurologopaedics specialty in healthcare centres and education centres which provide treatment, therapy and education for patients with various kinds of neurologenic speech communication disorders.
