The complexity of public procurement issues follows chiefly from the interdependence of public administration with the goods, services and construction works markets. Using the Public Procurement Law is extremely important for entities applying for funding from the European Union structural funds.
The aim of the course is to train specialists in public procurement and to teach practical skills related to public procurement procedures.
Students learn about public procurement and acquire practical skills related to public procurement procedures. The aim of the course is to prepare the contracting authorities and contractors to function in the public procurement market by teaching students about the legal and economic procedures and how the public procurement system functions in Poland and the European Union.
The course I directed to the executive staff and employees of contracting authorities who take part in planning, inspecting the awarding and carrying out of public procurement, persons who inspect public procurement and to persons who represent entrepreneurs applying for public procurement.
Most classes are held in the form of exercises and deal with the analysing of specific case studies concerning public procurement in Poland and in European Union member states.
