Every company in the market must meet Occupational Health and safety standards. Furthermore, every employee should be trained in Occupational Health and safety. This is why there is a demand for specialists to train staff and monitor adherence to Occupational Health and safety rules in enterprises. The aim of the course is to prepare students for a career in Occupational Health and safety in changing market economy conditions. In accordance with the Order of the Council of Ministers of 2 September 1997 on Occupational Health and Safety Services (Journal of Laws No. 109, item 704, as amended), graduating this course provides the qualifications to work as a senior Occupational Health and safety inspector after a year of professional experience as an Occupational Health and safety specialist and working in executive positions in the Occupational Health and safety services. Graduates are prepared to work the Occupational Health and safety services of enterprises, in firms providing Occupational Health and safety services and for training centres dealing with the topic; they can be employed in the Occupational Health and safety services in any sector of the economy. Furthermore, every graduate receives a certificate of the completion of an Occupational Health and Safety Internal Auditor training and a certificate of the completion of First Aid training. The course is directed to college graduates of every subject, type and degree who wish to acquire and broaden their knowledge of Occupational Health and safety. The course is directed to both persons working in Occupational Health and safety services and to persons from outside the trade who wish to acquire a new professional speciality.
