Graduates of the Music in Primary and Secondary School post-graduate course have a broad knowledge of music. They know and can use musical education systems by Emil Jaques-Dalcroze, Carl Orff and Zoltan Kodaly. They are acquainted with the forms of musical education, know music literature, are familiar with musical culture from the oldest to contemporary times. With the knowledge they have acquired and their perfected skills, they can convey the beauty of music and its role and importance in human life to children and young people in an attractive way.
The course is directed to college graduates, especially to primary and secondary school teachers who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct music classes in grades 4-6 of primary school and in secondary school. Graduates of this course also have the qualifications necessary to run music classes in non-school education institutions.
