The aim of the post-graduate course in ethics is to train the students to conduct ethics classes in primary, secondary and post-secondary schools.
The curriculum covers the practical side of teaching ethics in school, an analysis of contemporary ethical problems together with their theoretical and historical backgrounds. Graduates have knowledge of basic ethical issues and know the methodology of teaching this subject in school. They are knowledgeable about contemporary discussions concerning religious and secular ethics. They know the ethics of teachers and students, can answer the ethical dilemmas of their students.
The course is directed mainly to persons with pedagogical training who wish to teach Ethics in primary, secondary and post-secondary school and to persons who intend to acquire pedagogical training in the nearest future. The course is also directed to teachers who wish to teach Ethics as a second subject and to persons who wish to broaden their knowledge of ethics.
