Graduates of this course can seek employment in government, local government and economic administration dealing with the issues of civil protection and crisis management, as well as in companies active in the commercial security sector, in institutions such as the army, police, state protection services, fire service, border guard, customs service, penitentiary services, personal and property security companies, detective agencies, civil defence formations and security education institutions. Graduates possess in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills to direct security and crisis management institutions. They have detailed knowledge of management in a crisis situation, related to the appearance of contemporary local hazards of civilisation. They will have learned the essence of security, its conditions and principles together with the forms in which security entities work. They will have acquired the ability to analyse and use the principles and procedures of security and crisis management in the organisation and on the local scale.
This course is primarily directed to the holders of degrees in law, economics and administration. The course is also directed to persons working in and managing security agencies.
