The Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdańsk is a non-public college, entered into the register of non-public colleges kept by the Minister of Education and Science under number 88 and a member of non-public college associations. The college was established in 1996. Our college’s guiding principle is to educate highly qualified staff for the tourist and hotel industry based on modern and tested teaching methods and the latest technologies. Our college prepares our students for working in executive positions in hotels, catering and services.
Being aware of the tough competition in the job market, we offer our students a solid academic education, the skills to be well acquainted with today’s business issues and the competence required of a professional manager. One undeniable assets include: constant updating of our curriculum relevant to the changing trends in the job market, highly qualified academic teaching staff, combining theory with practice, emphasis on foreign language teaching and excellently equipped learning facilities. Given the specificity of the tourist and hotel business, the Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdańsk strongly emphasises foreign language teaching (the many hours devoted to foreign language teaching is one of our college strong points). We offer English, German, Russian, French and Spanish language courses.
The Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdańsk has signed partnership agreements so that our students can serve 15-week professional apprenticeships (in Poland and abroad) at prestigious hotels, restaurants, catering facilities and other tourism and hotel institutions in Poland and abroad.
The Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdańsk provides education in the fields of tourism and recreation at the first and second cycle degree level, it also provides post-graduate and specialist courses.
